Are Rieker Those Dream Shoes?
My real story and review for those who look for perfect shoes

What are these shoes all women dream about? Comfortable yet not compromising style? I was doing this research for quite a long time and last summer I made this discovery. I was going to visit my relatives in another country and was racing all over, including the Internet, in the hope of finding those perfect shoes. The shoes that my feet could stand 20 hours of journey. I had to go through three airports, be seen by many people and therefore, like any other woman, wanted to look stylish as well as not sacrificing my feet .

I already lost my hope and started thinking that my dream shoes do not exist in this world. I kept in mind the last shop I didn't visit for many years and went to check it up...and here they were

They attracted and mesmerized me straight away. I wasn't looking at other shoes anymore, all my attention was on these beauties. As they were not cheap I spent quite a lot of time examining them and talking to a shop assistant. I never heard about this brand before, but apparently, it,s going already for 130 years! The shop assistant told me she was wearing shoes of this brand only - shoes, boots, sandals... Rieker footwear was the only one her feet could stand long working hours. While she was talking I had the proof of what she was saying on my feet as I was having the shoes on and they felt like tailor made for me. They were also the last pair. Obviously , I could not leave the shop without having them.

Before traveling I tested them. It was all true what the lady said to me: all day on feet I did not feel I had them on and didn't feel tired, though they do have heels!. So my journey was fine in these shoes. I absolutely fell in love with them after this and was wondering why didn't I come across this brand before. The most interesting part is this. My auntie tried them sneakily on. She loves fashion and does know a bit about the quality things. Usually, she wouldn't admit she tried my clothing on, but this time could not resist running to me screaming: "Oh my God! They are so comfortable, I never had anything like these in my life! I can't believe it! I didn't know the shoes like these ones exist in nature. What is the brand?..." My First Pair of Rieker footwear -- the most comfortable shoes I ever had that look so stylish. A pure bliss..

They Were My True Friend All Summer

These Stylish Comfortable shoes were good for standing all day long

I didn't need to break in as they felt like a second skin straight away
sole was steady, safe and comfortable for walking
high-quality soft leather hugged my feet nicely
soft and supporting inside ( have a snug fit at the heel which restricts slipping and decreases movement inside the shoe. It's what you call "anatomically correct")
lightweight - the sole is flexible - I didn't feel I was wearing heels ( and there is a heel of 5 cm)
extremely comfortable
very elegant
stylish and classy looking at the same time
versatile goes with jeans, trousers, and dresses

All of the above made them ideal for my traveling.

My Investigation About What Other People Say

Being inquisitive by my nature I got curious whether I was so lucky with this brand or it was the Rieker Brand that was so good. This is what I found other people say: The fit is perfect, amazingly comfortable even from the first day, delighted, very sexy look, adaptable colour,excellent quality, fit correctly like wearing socks, they didn’t cause me any blisters when new.

Long story short : I bought another pair Mirjam Rieker Formal Black Mary Jane Flower Trimmed(sadly, not available now) when I came back home and they are an absolute LOVE.

Who is Rieker?

The info about Rieker Brand I found: Rieker is a reputable anti-stress shoe company as they are manufacturing anatomically correct footwear since 1874. Rieker Antistress is presently going through quick growth worldwide. They don't advertise often as they don't need to ( and I can understand now why!). The shoes are specially designed to make them as comfortable as possible and as kind as possible to your feet. Rieker Antistress shoes are lighter than average, they are roomier, have a snug fit at the heel to restrict slipping and decrease movement inside the shoe, are especially flexible to maintain movement of the foot, they fit correctly around your fit, have flexible stitching to maintain movement. All of their shoes are made from light weight soft flexible materials of excellent quality. All of their shoes have shock-absorbent/antistress soles. This means that the pressure is evenly distributed around your feet and not centered on one place only. Therefore they are extremely comfortable to wear. There are different types of sole Rieker produces. They use Polyurethane, Rubber, Multicolour, Thermoplastic Rubber (Moulded) Soles. You choose which one you want depending on how much you want to protect your feet. Rieker shoes are manufactured in a specific way. A single shoe can be made of 50 different pieces!

For Long Life of Your Shoes

Light colour shoes might stain sometimes.

Solution: Protect your shoes with Protection Spray.

Things to remember before you start spraying your shoes:

protect your floor with a cupboard or something similar or spray outside
make sure you use the right colour protector for your shoes
read instruction of how to do it. Often it's better to use some sponge to spread the spray better

A Range of Shoe Polish Choose Yours

From time to time I feed the leather ( also my leather jackets & coats) with some oil to moisturize and nourish it. It's a natural leather after all and it needs the same care as your face skin. So, it's OK to use some of your old face creams that are not good anymore for your face or out of date. It's also OK to use a cooking oil or butter. Try and see the results.
